How Do I Fix Bad Tsop Flash With X2.3b Pro?
« on: January 13, 2004, 01:31:00 PM »

I had gone through a long battle with my Xbox about 3 weeks ago and had been posting many threads on here. I screwed my TSOP with a corrupt ver. of the 4978.06, never again. Anyway, I have since installed a X2.3b pro chip and now want to fix the bad flash. I've been searching around and haven't been able to find much on the topic. Can anyone tell me how to proceed or send me in the proper direction to a tutorial?

the TSOP d.6 may or may not work, not sure

a 29-wire mod will also work

I was afraid of that. I had heard that you could fix bad TSOP's, but I wasn't sure which chips, or if it was even possible.

I don't really care too much about my TSOP anymore cause I've chipped the thing. I want to know mainly cause if I mess up my friends, I want to be ale to fix it.

yeah, its easiest just to leave your chip on all the time, if you want to play Live you can flash one bank of your chip with retail bios and it will work fine, no ban
