Tsop Flash Without 007?

Hi,
Im in the middle of modding a v 1.4(i think its a 1.4 because pin 2 is grounded) box and the mod chip I have does not seem to work on it, so we are going for the exploit/TSOP flash method

Managed to get the hot swap method working, uploaded the bert and ernie files and the evox, and once i go back in to rename the old xtf files im sure it will boot to evox

After I solder the top and bottom points,
how can I update the TSOP(i know evox wont do these version boards, and that I need raincoat)
Can i get raincoat running without needing 007 or MA?

Ive read the tutes but couldnt seem to find a method not mentioning those games

Quick guidance would be appreciated

Well, since you will be able to boot into evo-x via the bert&ernie exploit you have ftp access to the xbox.
Just get the 007 TSOP Flash Kit (Eurasia) found where these sorts of things are up for download, unzip and ftp over and then use your favorite application to launch it.

That package has a default.xbe that can be launche like any other application/game.

Put it in the right place (e:\blablabla\blablabla) and use boxplorer to enter the folder and start it.

AdamC, basically grab the 007 with raincoat from xbins...after extraction take a look in the folders.  All you need is the raincoat folder.  Basically you can take that out and setup evox to run the raincoat.xbe just like you would an application (similar to xbmp).  If you have evox setup to autoadd items you will see it listed as Linux in the menu.  Just start it up and then connect with telnet.

also what makes you think you cant flash 1.4 tsops with evox becouse that is not true its the type of tsop that mightrequire you to use raincoat to flash it and the only tsops i found that require raincoat are the winbond chips i have done loads of them its streight forward enough but if it is anything but a winbond it should flash from evox as i have done loads of 1.4's lately all you require is the right bios to flash to the tsop one that works with the new focus video chip

either x2_4979 repack or evox m7

also if it is a 1.4 then you didnt need to solder any points on the bottom of the motherboard just 2 on top which you can see here

only 1.0 and 1.1 require you solder the bottom points of the board and both models require 1mb bios's to flash to it but evox will convert a smaller bios to 1mb with ease during flash so no problem there unless you have a winbond in which case you need to add the 1mb bios to the raincoat folder rename it to xbox.bin or something

from 1.2 to 1.5 and probably onwards in future its just the 2 points on top and they all require 256k bios files

sorry i went on i just noticed a few things out of place in the original post i thaught i might clear up just incase also if i fucked something up sorry dude i have been up allnight.
