Yes, flashing a 1.4 and 1.5 are the same, you just have to make sure you use the correct bios, m7 or x2 4979.  If evox says flash isn't writeable, make sure you have correct flash definitions and points soldered, check the pinned topic for tsop flashing 1.2s and 1.3s there are lots of flash definitions and pictures posted in there.

So just wack in an update .ini file with all definitions and flash away......
