Live With Flashed Tsop On 256k Chip.
« on: November 18, 2003, 05:31:00 PM »

Since the newer chips can only hold one BIOS the xbox is done from live from then on right?  But what if you were to install the audio exploit on the flashed tsop box as well.  But instead of loading a hacked BIOS from the audio exploit have it load a retail BIOS.  Would this allow the use of Live?

Yeah, this sounds like a very interesting idea.  Let us know if it works.   :D

Sounds like it should work, because you are loading the original bios into the ram, as long as xbox live only checks the bios in the ram, and not the bios on the tsop, you should be fine.

If you were using a hacked bios, you wouldn't need to perform the audio exploit.  You could just launch PBL directly.

3thirteen, awesome concept.  But can original m$ bioses be converted to BFM in xbtool?

the original bios cant be handled in xbtool, it can be converted to bfm, however that alteration will most likely invalidate it for Live and get you banned
