Multi Bios Flash Gone Bad?

i backed up my retail bios and tryed to open it in xbtool just got a error so i resized it 2 256 and had my hacked bios at 256 made it all 1 meg (have like this retail +retail +hacked +hacked) i got a flashing red and green front led light so i grounded a18 and a 19 go the same thing. then i just ground a18 and i got my hacked bios....did i do something wrong....did i flash a non retail bios..?? can someone help me..i am going to put a switch in soon...thanks alot

What do you mean you are going to put a switch in soon? You have to have a switch in first in order to split the bios so that you can put 2 different bios on the 1 Mb chip. By the way, I do not believe you can open your original bios or the Cromwell bios in XBtools, unless I am mistaken. Also, size of the bios does not matter, if you are using the latest version of Evolution X to flash bios. It resizes the bios to fit the chip you are flashing.

:D sorry i posted to soon..see i thought if you flash it with multi boot it will load a bio does not matter what....i added the switch with the a19>ground and a19>vcc and it works sorry and thanks alot :D
