Tsop, Going Suicide With A Fork.

Ja, du kanske använde fel bios? Du kanske använde ett 256kb bios till en 1mb stort bios chip? Jag vet att det är flera här på xbox-scene som också har gjort som du och sen så bootar den bara inte. Men jag vet inte om du använt fel bios.

Använde ett 1 meg bios, det är jag 100% säker på.
Vet inte riktigt vad felet ligger, har sett att andra haft samma problem.
Frågan är bara hur fasiken jag ska lösa det nu när det är kört..

Har nyss köpt mig ett chameleon.
Har 2 xboxar, vill tsopa ett.
Får det dock inte att funka, så jag köpte
ett mechwarrior och minneskort idag och lekte lite.
Som att leka med elden.. he he..
Men vafan...shit happens.. =)

this bios is for 1.0 xboxes only!

1 - fit lpc mod to get ya going again

If you check the BIOS list on the Xbox-Scene website, this will show you a whole host of 1.1-compatible BIOSes.  Some (such as EvoX 3.6) are 1.1 only.  Others (such as EvoX D.6) are multiversion BIOSes, compatible with all machines up to and including 1.3.  EvoX M.7 goes a step further, working on machines up to and including 1.5.

Xbtool will make size your bios's for you.

You need a modchip otherwise you won't get it to boot in the first place to reflash your chip. I'd suggest buying a cheapmod and putting a switch on it. Boot up flick it off and bang you can reflash the TSOP then you have a lot of the advantages of an xecuter 2. You could even reflash your cheapmod with a stock xbox bios for live purposes. You could try to scrounge a solderless modchip for a day to get you out of the shit.
