Xecuter Stand Alone Programmer

I need help with the stand alone programmer! I need to know if there is a certain cable i need or what. i keep getting errors every time i follow the directions to flash  the bios. im trying to recover from a bios upgrade that froze. now my xbox is not usable at all. any help is gratefull.
