uhm the paint is ok  - used a similar thing to quickly bridge a blown fuse on an old crap 100x psx - it still worked - the fuse on the controller ports had gone and couldn't be arsed for what it was worth so just used this paint

not best solutuion for fixing fuse but on a cheap old psx it was worth the risk

however - a tiny dot of solder is even cheaper

have posted a kinda tutorial on better & bigger points to use for ver 1.0 & 1.1's using 2 link wires - which is nice if you wanted to fit write protect/flash tsop switches

but what works best for you - as long as it does the job - that is the main thing....

though - on the paint i used with a small toothpick to apply to the psx fuse - it said wait a little while before applying power to the heated windscreen - funny I thought I was repairing a psx ???
oh well if the psx had of blown up I could of used the psx to scrape my car windows in the winter is what I thought

oooohhhhh 700x model

probably the worst/trickiest of the lot

gimme a super duper 7502 pal model anyday - ok poxy metal shield but still think the best one out of all....

colour mod wire to pump colour ntsc through RF - no scart needed

all ports inc expansion port for vcd adapter & link cable option
(don't bother looking PS-One peeps these ain't there)

and dual shock pack with a decent laser in them

ahh memories

There's probably lacquer on the board.
You can scrape it, you could also try nail polish remover, perhaps.
(Bizarre train of thought: lacquer -> hair lacquer -> hair spray -> nail varnish -> nail varnish remover)
