I've flashed a couple winbond chips on a 1.2 and the only points I bridged were the 2 on top, didn't even take the board out of the box. Where did you get your info on soldering the stuff on the bottom?

looks like only 1 person used a bottom point in that post, but anyway.... Are you still able to boot or are you still in raincoat? Do you have anyway of unbridging the bottom points? Give a little more info on what your xbox status is.

Try just the top points, I also used raincoat .501 when I flashed. Here is a quote from the 501 ver

Thanks to WaferJ from xboxhacker for testing. W49F020 has no
block erase, only chip erase. Chip erase is only allowed by raincoat
if the two kinds of block erase failed to work and you are writing the
whole 256KBytes starting from the beginning, as a safety feature.
Note that on the v1.2 motherboard the bridge points for nWE and nOE
on the TSOP are in a different place than the v1.0 and v1.1.
