PhreshPhatty there is a new Slayers out, it is version 2.1 and you can flash your modchip from it. Just download the image file from the usual places and burn it to DVDR or CDRW and boot the xbox from it. Make sure your modchip is write enabled and flash it from the dashboard that the Slayers disc brings up. I don't know if this will help your game playing situation, but I think it does answer your question on flashing.
