If you want to edit the ios you need to get an XISO extractor.  It is in the TOOLS section.  Then you can change the BIOS.  I have never used xflash so I'm not sure what the deal is but why don't you just try the 007/Mech trick??

okay well i got the bios file loaded with xflash no problem. However, I get an error saying it can't erase my old BIOS. I'm positive i did the jumpers correctly. I'm no newbie to soldering.

Is it possible that I cut the wrong wires on my homebrew? I found that with these wires cut my xbox wont boot at all. Green LED all the way but no sound/video at all.
