no ani means no little flubber hting at the start up and the color is the color of the X in the start up.

Kernal, you can find them in the "usual places". Xbins has the orignal BIOS and then use XBTool to edit the BIOS!

I was going to try Orange but my CircuitWriter conductive ink pen was a no go. Tried all day today, now I guess I might have to learn how to solder.

Soldering isn't the hardest thing in the world. The two jumpers for a TSOP are really easy. Goto radio shack and pick up a 15 watt pencil and practice on old computer parts. All you need is a little dab of solder to close the jumpers! Takes no more than 10 min to solder the jumpers!!

I burned my damn pinky with one of those radio-crap soldering guns, I did pick up recently that there is a "Paper Foil Method" that does not require soldering. I saw a few pics and tried it myself but to no avail i couldnt get it to work on my preliminary tests to flash my TSOP. I ended soldering both bridge points perfectly. If you have a Hynnix Flashable bios, you should have no major problems

you can use a rear window defrost repair kit as well. same as a conductive pen basically.
