if he cannot get his xbox to boot it is pretty hard! So you have tried to boot a game from the DVD drive when you power on? I have never tried this exploit because it has no use to me but I will try to help as much as I can.

If you decide to do the 007 TSOP flash method you will have to mount your Xbox's hard drive in Linux to copy over the hacked save seeing as your Xbox's dashboard is not working.

You will have to put either 007 or MechAssult (depending on which game and hacked save you are using) into your Xbox's DVD-ROM drive, power off, and it should boot from the DVD.

yes you can, dashboard has nothin to do with your bios

but how would i flash it?? i dont think 007 method will work being as i cant launch games... and will flashing the tsop even fix my prob?
