The phillips drive is useless alot of the time, and very random. Have u tried theses backups in another modded xbox with a phillips drive? Check in the evox dash to see if the cd is being picked up as a game if it is then you "should" really have no problems loading. However ftp boxexplorer to the xbox and try to read the disk. Generally is ur xbox can read it and show all the files it should load other wise try a different brand of dvd (are u useing plus or minus). Ihave exactly the same setup but 1.3 and 1.2 both with same dash. If you still having problems and are brave trry the pot tweak it worked a treet for me. Just make sure u use the correct tools ( a very small screw driver) and trun the pot little by little Check out the tutorital of xbox scene.
