just wanted to point out that evox DOES resize the bios.my tsop is split 2 ways.512 kb each part.i use 256 kb bios's all the way because i'm to lazy to resize them and evox recognizes a 1 mb hynix chip and resizes the bios to 1 mb.then it writes 512 kb and there is the limit on my tsop so it rewrites the 512 kb.the bios is flashed and works.

i hate people who write like they know something but they don't know anything.

he didn't prove anything because I did a similar test with the newest version of evox. I tried to flash a 1 meg chip with a 256k bios and it did not resize it. This is the only reason I kept arguing. I proved my point to myself just to make sure I was right. I would not come in here and argue if I was not absolutely sure I was right.

well if you wont responed to reason, maybe an nfo will convince you. i didnt want to copy and past the whole nfo just the part that matters... just admit your wrong man, it happends to the best of us. you think you know it all and bam your proved wrong. shit i know it happend to me, then i read up on it and corrected myself. you have to grow up and admit you didnt know.

EvolutionX main feature list:

EvolutionX new features:

In Game Reset:
   We bring you In Game Reset with the RemoteX dashboard (no need to upgrade your bios for this function)
   IGR is availale in 3 modes (Select from Settings Menu):
      FTP IGR -> When you launch from FTP Client e.g. execute f:mamedeafult.xbe
      RDTools IGR -> When you launch from VC++
      MISC IGR -> IGR when launching normally
   If you want IGR in original games you have to use the Launch DVD function from RemoteX or enable Auto Launch Game and insert the DVD when you are in RemoteX dashboard.

Telnet Server:
   A very limited (so far) telnet server.
   Functions available are:
      PCIDUMP, IODUMP, MEMDUMP, CDSECTORDUMP, HDDSECTORDUMP, O, DIR, QUIT, EXIT

Date Swap:
   Swap dd/mm/yyyy -> mm/dd/yyyy
AutoSize bios file:
   Evox will now automatically autosize the bios image to fit the flash type e.g.
   256 -> 512 ; 256 -> 1024 ; 512 -> 1024

hey I already said I read that nfo file. I know it says that. Read my last post right before this. I don't have to listen to reason to know it didn't work. I would not keep saying it didn't if I hadn't had this experience several times with the latest version of evox. MANY other people have this problem as well. Maybe you should try it yourself like I did and you'll know I'm not arguing just to not be wrong... because I'm not wrong.

like scan-c i have, thus i know it works. im to lazy to make them all 1 meg. so i use it all the time. for TSOP flash, so some how you are using an old version of evox, not new.

Just to make sure I was using the latest evox I downloaded the latest evox version and tried it with 256k bios. I wanted to be wrong so I could quit posting in this forum. Still it only flashed the first 1/4 of the chip. I double checked to make sure my chip was able to be fully flashed... it was. So I flashed a tsop. I had to make the multibios switch after the flash to make my xbox functional. I'm glad it works for you guys but it does not for me. I find it hard to believe that the same software produces different results.
