I don't get it...

U can't use a lokced drive on another xbox it's locked to it xbox's eeprom...

But wtf did u ftp to your friends xbox or did u ftp o your modded on? ofcourse u don't need a mem card ifu have a modchip...

This hack is for they who do not have a modchhip wich mean no aces to the xbox harddrive... (FTP)

So this is not something new...

Wow this looks like great news... so let me get this straight.

You booted both xboxes to the dash (the modded one to the Evo-X dash, the unmodded one to the MS Dash).

At this point, both xbox's have the IDE cable plugged to their respective HD.

You unplugged the IDE cable from both HD's.

You connected the IDE cable from the modded xbox to the HD in the unmodded Xbox.

You FTP'd in and copied the files.

Is this correct? This seems kind of like the linux trick where you boot up the xbox normally, the disconnect the HD while it's still powered on and connect it to the linux box that is paused before the login.

With all the time you spent trying to install linux and then searching for info on the 007 hack you could have just stuck your mod chip in to his box, flashed the tsop and put your mod back in your box.

you guys are acting like this is something new.... or that this kid came up with it himself. I personally have been doing this for a couple of months now. It is documented in several places.

Will I be able to use Xbox-Save-Manager to save the 007 game to the HD? Or will I have to use ftp?

That method may work but since you had a modded xbox wouldnt it have been easier just to transfer the 007 savegame from your hard drive to a memory card. Then you just copy the savegame from the mem card to his hard drive and then run 007. Seems much easier and there is no chance to screw your hard drive.

Yeah it would have been easier, but it would have cost us 20$ more...and it was 2 a.m. no stores open...

This method works awesome... i did it on 4 xboxes last night.
