power on by the eject button and add new item. use the X2 5035 bios. look at on of the 2 guides in my sig for details.

you also might want to upgrade the XOS.

its all good. i would do this all by FTPing. it will be alot easier. need help with FTP? its in the guide

the X2 will work lovely. FTP it to anywhere on the HDD and then flash from the XOS.

and the only thing you would have to do is load a dashboard and point the bios to it via the .ini file that comes with the bios. the dash should automatically find the games if you have them in the right destination for the dash. i havent used any other than evox as a dash and everything it editable from the .ini file.

yes you can flash from USB if you have the USB adaptor if not FTP is the next easiest way. you have both evox and avalaunch on the HDD. all you need to is put the X2 .bin file on the HDD or jumpdrive. flash from within the XOS. it will allow you to select the path to the .bin file. jumpdrive will be H:/ drive.

then edit the X2 .ini file to have it either boot evox or avalaunch. there is a list of booting priority. the first will boot first, the second will boot second....

im not sure what all this "a b x y" is about??

use the "OLD" X2 bios .bin file. you will know what im talking about once you get the .rar file with everything in it.
