I just moved, and of course that means my matrix chip was shaken loose. I was having trouble getting it to work again, so I started from scratch including reprogramming the bios via the programmer. After doing so successfully, I found that all of the games I had on the F drive of the 200GB hard drive are gone both in the menu in Evox and when I ftp to the xbox. Is this normal? Did I screw myself by reflashing the matrix? I do not remember what bios was on the matrix before, but the bios I just put on again is the X2_4977. Could this be an LBA48 problem? Does anyone reccomend a certain bios or know the most recent/best bios that the matrix can handle or just how to fix this?
Thanks in advance!
Keep it simple, get the X2_4983.06 and you should be good to go. The bios you used didn't support LBA48. So loing as you haven't formatted or tried copyin files under it you should get everything back.
