Xenium Chip Works One Day Not The Next

im guessing since its not getting power it would be a faulty power supply. possibly try a known working one. also check your power cord it could have a pinched wire inside not getting a good connection.

most likely the power supply then. not providing adequate power to all components in order to run properly. so the chip is flashing red and the xbox frags?

is there a number on the screen when it is fragging?

might need Rabid to stop by, he always has some good ideas to try.

i would try everything possible before giving in to a new xbox.

check all connections for the chip. the chip goes on the closest 12 pins towards the screw, FYI. look for burnt traces and/or pads on the mobo. and also unplug the box and leave unplugged for about 3 or 4 hours, or maybe a whole day to be on the safe side. then check that for anything unusual on the power supply. also try a recovery on the chip.
