I'm trying to help a friend install a xenium gold sp into his v1.2 xbox with the solderless adapter.  
We've searched and searched and can't find anything that specifically deals with this adapter.  I know that the spice guide is supposed to apply, but it doesn't seem to.  

Note this isn't the SP Adapter with the white curved piece.  It has LFRAME written on it with 2 on/off switches.  1 to disable the LFRAME and another to disable the LEDs.

Another note, the solderless adapter and white piece are mated and can't be taken apart.

since it is a v1.2 xbox the white piece and clear template  is not needed. use the black base only. and place the chip on the closest 12 pins to the screw with the "X" in Xenium towards the back of the xbox. the black and blue wire harness is an alternate d0 connection but the one on the black base will do just fine. the pinheader is for a solder set-up.

so all you need is the black base, chip (obviously), screw, and thick washer.

Tape off the ends of the 4 wires inside the curve individually, don't cut them off because this adapter is notorious for not working and you cannot return it if you cut the wires. Set the LEds and the Lfram off. Place the do hook in the d0 for your motherboard. That's it. You can download a guide for this adapter but it is for the 1.6 only.
