is the back-up a BIN file? if so, go to the XOS, and go to EEPROM tools. from there hit "Restore from BIN".

you need to put the chip in and boot to the XOS. and then go to EEPROM tools>>>restore from BIN. i have clicked the "restore from BIN" but i didnt go past the warning screen. im guessing after the the warning screen it will give you a menu with the drives of your HDD. select the path of where you BIN file is on your XBOX HDD.

Your chances are 50/50 that a Xenium will be able to restore your eeprom. While I have never accidentally flashed a blank eeprom I have flashed the wrong version and been able to get it back to normal. The prolem with a blank eeprom is the Xenium may see it as a damaged eeprom and not boot, basically as if the eeprom is not there at all.
