Help I Broke My Eeprom

Help

I was having trouble with xbox live (it was detecting the modchip even though I was loading from the retail bios) and in my fiddlings I found the EEPROM restore option.  Naively I selected this and now my XBOX fires up an error 05 whenever I try to load the retail bios.  It still works with the EVOX bios.  Can anyone tell me how to fix my retail bios problem?  And for bonus points once I have the retail bios fixed how do I make Live work again?

I have a Xenium Gold 24K in a version 1.6 XBox.

boot xbox. lock the HDD through the XOS and then boot retail bios.

live should still work as long as you didnt get banned.
