I mad a post before about my Xenium chip giving me the red led and not starting.

Well, im pretty much convinced somethings wrong with my chip. I checked if there was something wrong with the soldering, i tried running a "Recovery" and still got nothing.

So the question is, Can i just replace my existing Xenium chip with another xenium chip?

A Xenium Ice? Or Gold? would i be able to install it the same way?

im not sure what kind of chip i have.

It just says Xenium on top and it is white.

thats an xenium ice. and yes you can just replace your ice with a gold.

how did you attach the chip to the board? quick solder , pin header or solderless? Usually if the chip is red on boot there is a bad connection...at least in my expereince everytime that has happened to me I have gone back and resoldered and fixed it. Good luck!

its either pin header or quicksolder. and he said he checked the solder and nothing looked out of place. just double check everything before deciding the chip is bad.  try your chip in one of your friends xbox that has a xenium mod.
