Having A Bad Day With My Xbox
« on: May 27, 2006, 02:22:00 PM »

*Update* not that anything has improved

I removed the mod-chip and adpator again made sure everything was in check and reinstalled it,

Now I can get the Xbox to turn on and stay on however I get a blank screen, this happens in recovery mode as well and it doesnt matter if I use the HD cables or the Standard set.

One thing I noticed is the Mod-Chip displays a Green LED and I have always used the Blue one I have no idea if this has signifacance.

Well 8 hours later and it seems to be back up and running fine.

I used the HDD recovery.bin file made a cd data disk with a 540mb .vob file from a video TS folder as a dummy and it worked first try.

So if anyone else benefits from my wasted day then keep this thread open if not.

Please delete it.
