ok good to hear.
Well you hacked bioses are launching fine so they're not the problem. The problem then is most likely the files of the evo X dashbard. Firstly, to fix FlashFXP, open it up, go to options then preferences. Within the preferences you'll find two options that you need to change. Find the list method option and set it to default. Then find the 'use passive mode' option and de-select it (one is in advanced tab and one is in the connection tab. Save the changes and restart FlashFXP. FTP back into your xbox and you'll now see the folder contents.
The files for your dashboard are located within the root of th C drive. The xboxdash.xbe is the excutable for the original mircosoft dashboard. The other one is your Evo X dash and should be called evoxdash.xbe (there's also a bunch of other files associated with each of these dashboards). Get yourself a copy of the latest Evo X release (if you don't know how to find it, I cant give you a direct link or anything but I can tell you to read the tutorial on xbins

)
Once you have your Evo X folder, you may want to open the evox.ini file with wordpad or notepad and edit it to your liking (ie network settings IP etc). If you'd prefer to wait and edit settings inside evox then make sure the xbe file is named 'evoxdash.xbe', FTP into your box, go to the C drive, select all the files within the EvoX folder on your PC and drag them across to your C drive overwriting the existing ones.
From there evox should work fine.
As far as dashboards go, Evo X isn't bad but in my opinion its got nothing on XBMC (you'll find details of wehere you can get XBMC in the same place as Evo X), I also rate Unleash X over Evo X.
If you'd like to install XBMC as a dashboard, here's how:
1) Download the latest build and extract the .rar file.
2) Open the resulting folder then drag the 'XBMC' folder onto your desktop. Close the window of the un-rar'd folder as you dont need anymore of these files.
3) Open the XBMC folder, in here you will see the files 'Xboxmediacenter.xml' and 'default.xbe'. Drag these two files out of this folder onto the desktop. Rename 'default.xbe' to something your bios can boot, ie evoxdash.xbe (this depends on your bios but Evo M8 and 4983 both boot evoxdash.xbe fine).
Open the Xboxmediacenter.xml file with notepad or wordpad. edit the fourth line down to look like this;
<home>C:\XBMC\</home>
instead of this;
<home>-</home>
save the changes and exit.
Boot into your Xenium OS. Open FlashFXP and navigate to the root of your C drive. on the PC side, use shift to select the 'XBMC' folder (not the whole 'XBMC-CVS_2006-XX-XX-T3CH' folder), the xboxmediacenter.xml and evoxdash.xbe (or whatever you renamed default.xbe to) files and drag them to the ROOT of the C drive in one go.
Note; the two files 'xboxmediacenter.xml' and 'evoxdash.xbe' should NOT be inside the XBMC folder, they should reside along side it. Then boot your hacked bios from Xenium OS and enjoy XBMC.
