Having Trouble With Blue Xenium
« on: April 18, 2006, 07:22:00 AM »

an hour is definately enough time for the recovery. The box should shut itself down as you said after just a minute or so.

What Xenium OS version were you trying to recover with? and do you know what it was OS version it was running before the troubles started? I've heard that sometimes there can be troubles upgrading the XOS if you skip a lot of versions, ie go from 2.0.0 to 2.3.1 in one go. If the XOS was originally quite outdated, try recovering wih an older version of XOS. Ten if itworks an you want to update include a few older versions in between on the way up to 2.3.1.

The OS on it originally was very old, probably 1.0.  I'll try recovering with an old version, we'll see what happens.  Thanx

1.1 OS isn't taking either.  Boourns!
When I hit the switch to not recovery mode, the led on the chip goes red, white, green, then stays green and I get a black screen.
The plot thickens....
