installing a gold on a 1.4

1.) do u need the SP adaptor?

2.) if i dont need the SP adaptor which pins do i use on the black solderless adaptor (the last twelve??)??  the black adaptor in the pinned guide doesnt match my adaptor.

i got it figured out...it was the last twelve pins with the chip facing the side of the xbox!!!
