Yep, I'm using the X2 5035 BIOS.  It allows you to change setting without having to reflash your ICE.

first, your sig is not supposed to be animated. Anyways, you xbox cannot boot without a hard drive. Even if it booted from a cd it wouldnt work. The .ini file goes in your C partition.

any mod bios will let you boot from the OS to a disc without the HD, but what specifically are you intending? It might help give you a better answer.

Is there a guide for flashing the xenium chip with the xecuter bios?  I am trying to use X2 4983.06.

I've read into the X2ool and it mentions an x2config.ini file, but I don't see one anywhere.  Do I need to create that?  Regardless, a guide would be helpful.  Also, do I need to put evox dash on there if I am just going to use XBMC as my dash anyway?
