Are you trying to boot to the Xenium OS via the eject button power on or trying to boot to your other OS flashed on the chip. Try to boot to Xenium with eject button. If it still frags try the recovery switch on the chip itself. Move the switch to recovery, turn on box. If you can get to the Xenium OS menu you can recover the eeprom from the chip. Just follow the menu items.

I recently dealt with the issue of corrupt EEPROM myself. If you aren't able to boot into your Xenium OS screen to utilize the 'restore EEPROM from backup' feature, then you could try this, its what I did.

i made an Xbox boot disc for an EEPROM application, I think it was called Eepromer. To do this you have to rename the eepromer.xbe file to default.xbe, burn it to disc (CD-RW I used, you may need to chock the disc out with a dummy file too, like a random avi file or something), then once you power on (by the power button, not eject) it should hopefully boot into the EEPROM app. From there you can use the app to restore your EEPROM from the eeprom back up saved on the harddrive. I think it needs to be in the E:

Note though that I didn't have an eeprom backup on my harddrive so I ftp'd one into my E: as I was still able to boot Avalaunch as my dash but coudn't boot Xenium OS. once the EEPROM.bin file was in my F: I made the mistake of restarting my xbox. this was a mistake as  the presence of the EEPROM.bin file then messed up my ability to boot avalaunch also......hence my finding myself completely locked out of my xbox and needing to make an Eepromer boot disc. So once you're able to use Eepromer to perform the restore, you may need to make an XBMC boot disc (something with a file manager) that you'll be able to boot from then go in and remove the EEPROM.bin file). Atfer the restore try booting as per usual though as the presence of the EEPROM file may not cause any issues for you.

As a final thought, I mentioned earlier that the Eeprom program looks for the EEPROM to used to back up from in a specific location (E: in 99% sure), if your Eeprom back up is not in the root of your E: you'll have to make that XBMX boot disc I referred to earlier and use filemanager to copy it from whereever it is to E:

Just a follow up, I checked the exact name of that EEPROM application and its called EEPROMagic 0.01 (beta). The EEPROM.bin file needs to be located in the root of the C: drive (which is actually the same location as my dashboard files so I guess  that's how it was able to prevent me from booting my dash after I dumped it into that directory).
