OK....if you are using the XBMC on the Slayer 2.6 disk it is a older version and I recommend updating to a newer build, especially since the newer version has built in DVD suport.

But....for your problem:

1) You need to know what file names your bios boots (ie: xbmc.xbe, evoxdash.xbe, avalaunch.xbe, etc.)
2) If your XBMC files are on F: than you need to make a copy of default.xbe and XboxMediaCenter.xml and put   copies of that on your C: drive (leaving the originals on F: not sure if you have to do this but I do and it works)
3) On C: change the copy of XBMC default.xbe to something your bios can boot (ie: evoxdash.xbe, avalaunch.xbe, etc.)
4) You will also need to edit the XboxMediaCenter.xml file (near the begining) to show that the home drive is F: I think by default it is left blank.
