Version 1.0 Xbox Fragging On/off/on/off/no Video Or Audio

First don't mess with the LED bar until you have the chip working. White/Violet is not good. Does the Xbox boot without the chip. IF it does, put the chip back on, but before you do make sure the switch is covering the little black marker.  What color do you get?

 If it's doing the same thing the problem is with your soldering. Look for soldersplash, burned or damaged traces around the LPC.

The same thing happens to me but the problem with mine i think is that one of the wires soldered to the chip disconnected.
