Yep, you can.  The XOS will format the HDD for you if you'd like.  You'll just need to install BIOS, dash, etc.  I assume you know the drill.

In the manual it shows where to put the switch.

But if you want to trial and error it. The box wont boot up to the xenium menu if it is switched the wrong way.
If you have not flipped the switch it is already in the right position. smile.gif

Please do not "trial and error" the switch, you can hose the OS if you start a recovery and stop it before it has a chance to halt on it's own. The switch covers the black marker in normal mode and is off the marker in recovery mode. dachyld, take some time and look on the TeamXodus.com sight and you will find all the correct info you need about the chip and the accessories that come with it.
