I'll say a few things about this.
There are 5 official resellers listed on the teamxodus site... the least expensive I saw was $44.95 for a single chip. I've purchased from 2 of them at one point of another (modwhiz and modchipman) and never had a problem with either of them.
That being said, let's look at this non official site you posted. The package contents lists LED Board, USB board, wire harness and pin header (hmm..what about the chip itself???). The site also lists the weight of the package at 2.5 lbs (that's one freakin heavy modchip). They mention under the Main Features that it is supplied with pin header and length of kynar wire (i thought they came with a d0 & ground harness). They list "Fully tested before dispatch" which means they are not factory sealed...not only this..but if theyre going to "fully test before dispatch", you'd think they update the OS to 2.3 instead of the advertised 2.0 (new) (hmm...i thought the xenium ice was shipped from xodus with 2.01)
yes... I am nitpicking about their website...absolutely..but I tend to equate reputation with presentation. If they cant even produce a correctly written website, what other shortcuts do they take.
Now take into account that they are selling them for $20 less than any official reseller.
I don't know this site nor have I purchased from them, and they do not show up on TeamXodus's "Fake Seller" link on their website. But as it does state in many instances in TeamXodus's "Fake Seller" link, Buy from Official Resellers.
Sometimes you get a deal..and sometimes you get what you pay for. Is it worth the gamble? That'd be up to you. Good luck.
