Xenium Ice From Xbox-wired.com
« on: November 30, 2005, 04:52:00 PM »

Has anyone ordered recently from Xbox-Wired.com??  I ordered a solderless Xenium ICE chip from them last week and I have yet to receive a shipping confirmation.  They have not responded to my e-mails, and no one answers the phone number listed on their website.  I figured they would be a good place to buy from since they run adds on xbox-scene.  Does anyone have any good contact information on Xbox-Wired.com or has any good suggestions on who to order the Xenium ICE chip from?

Thanks to anyone for their time.

I have never ordered from Xbox-wired.com so I can't help you there.  But, I have ordered 5 Xenium chips with universal solderless adapter from Divineo.com and I have never had a problem.  I highly recommend them.

Yeah, I just e-mailed Divineo last night about whether or not they have any chips in stock.  I got a reply from them this morning.  Given your success with Diveno and the fact they responded to my e-mail in less than a day, I think I'll give them a go.

Thanks.

Any word on this? I ordered the same exact thing on monday and have yet to recieve any information. I emailed them and attempted calling their 'live help' number. I received no response to my emails and whomever picked up the phone just hung up on me...

I cannot get ahold of Xbox-Wired.com !!!  I've called the stupid LIVE number and sent e-mails to all e-mail addresses in their contacts list.  I'm going to have to call my credit card company and see if I can do anything about this.

******* NOTE TO XBOX-SCENE ADMINISTRATOR *******
Remove Xbox-Wired.com as your sponsor!!

By the way, I ordered from Divineo this morning, and Fed Ex says I should get it tomorrow...I'll update this thread when/if I receive my chip.

I received my Xenium Chip from Divenio the day after I ordered it.  The chip is authentic and passed the fake test.  I recommend Divenio since they responded to my e-mail within 24 hours and shipped the chip within 24 hours of my order.  Tracked it all the way from Quebec to Atlanta, GA via FedEx!  I made the administrators here aware of my issue with Xbox-Wired.com and I'm still trying to get my refund.

OK guys this place has a bad rep on sending people stuff they ordered.

Now if you ordered it using a creditcard "checkingcard" Then you can get your bank to refund it.
They will contact the companys bank you perchased the item from and refund the money to you.

This happen to me on this same one. I went through this and end result is my bank had to get the money back from the companys bank.

Very bad business... I think removing the link from anyones site is a good idea.

If you got a tracking number from them it is crap also because anyone can pass you a fedex tracking number to you via email. Truth is and i got this strait from fedex them self. Tracking numbers can be gotten for free from them. Then after the number is given the sender has a certain time limit in which to deliver the item to be sent or the tracking number gets dropped.

^^^^^^^^^^^ NOW THATS CRAZY... OPEN for a big scammer to exploite the hell out of it. grr.gif

I have sent a message to of the administrators here: HEDEOMNZ has already responded and said that Xantium handles the sponsors.  So I just sent a message to Xantium asking him to give me valid contact info on Xbox-Wired.com and to remove them as a sponsor as it taints this awsome web site.

In the meantime, I have installed my new mod chip (S.P. ICE) from divenio, and I have installed a few emulators, mainly KILLER INSTINCT (best fighting game of all time), and i have Xbox Media Center installed.  As much as my wife hates me playing games, when she saw a configurd Xbox Media Center playing our Christmas CD's with the album covers showing and the visualtions rocking...she had two words to say, "Your Good."  Needless to say I'm quite the happy camper now, but the money I lost to XBOX-WIRED.com would go far on an hard drive upgrade...

I'll keep everyone posted.  DO NOT BUY FROM XBOX-WIRED.COM
