Ide Error 04?

when you flip the switch to recovery where are you trying to recover from
HDD or dvd drive?

I tried the switch on the chip both ways, and when I try to flash my bios off of my hdd it says it need to finish some further test so I tried a recovery and I get IDE error 04, but yes I tried playing W/ the switch on the chip

when ur flashing the bios ur selecting the BFM option and that is wrong. select the flash option and browse to the location on the HDD of the bin file


when you run recovery where are you trying to get the recovery.bin from the HDD or the dvd drive??

see thats the thing I can't flash my Hdd I get an error that more test need to be done, it's like the xbox isn't comunicating with the hdd or the cd drive, all my ide ribbons are connected right and so are my power cables to the hdd and cd drive
