Your chip doesn't have anything to do with your Xboxconnect's ability to find your Xbox. They are two completly different things.

Can your Xbox access the Internet at all?

As stated before a chip has nothing to do with Xbconnect. When you launch a bios the chip no longer has control, that is why you need a bios. The problem is obviously your network setup. Try a forum for Xbconnect support, it has nothing to do with your chip.

I put the Xenium chip on an old xbox, probably one of the first moldels that came out, and I tried to update it for Xbox live and it crashed!

because I xbox doesn't have the xbox live option, is that why xbconnect cant find my xbox when I try to play online?
