You will need to just jump in and try one (i.e. evox dash) and play with it for awhile, then maybe change to something else.  It is impossible to recommend one that is BEST for you when I don't know the first thing about you.  As far as which bios, you will find a nice chart, by searching around at this site, that will tell you which bios are compatible with your chip.  Good luck and enjoy!

X2 bios and avalaunch for dash.  Best combo.

I use the evox bios and dash first but then changed to the x2 bios and Unleash X dash. I think it was a great improvement. The evox dash seemed dated and didn't have the options I was looking for. I love all the skinning options for UX. It even has a news feed and will check for updates.  Plus I didn't have to find a copy of dvd2xbox, you can rip your games right from the dash. I heard good things about avalaunch so I may give it a try next.

You can do that with avalaunch as well.

Highlight the disc and press start i believe, then you will have an option to dump the disc.
