I have a v1.0 with a Xenium Ice chip. I've had the chip successfully installed since Christmas '04. A couple months ago my uncle gave me an xbox that wasn't working for him anymore and I tried to fix it. I finally decided that there was a problem with the bios and that it would take a mod chip to fix it, so i took the chip out of my xbox and put it in the broken one. I still couldn't get the broken one to work so I put the chip back in the first xbox. IT DIDN"T WORK!
When I boot up the box it restarts twice and FRAGs. From what I've read, I think the LPC needs to be aligned, but I've tested all the points with the solderless adapter on and off and they all seem to work. I've also checked the voltage with the chip on by using the quicksolder points. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
