so u needed a different screw for it to work? wut kind and how big? just a lil bit bigger then this 1?

well I had 2 xboxs which needed fixing so just used the other ones...its a big black srew which came with the chip the other one same chip had a different screw for some reason...just make sure the screw is tightish wihtout damaging it and the black part is securely pressed in.

oh ok..i think my screw is okay cuz it does make the adpter firm on the motherboard but i still cant get this damn thing to work.. i keep doin over and over again with no sucess... i can't really see the second row of holes so i have no idea if its goin in or what but im guessing its not lol cuz its not working but it really looks like its in but its not working

right well if it's not that when oyu press it gently and it doens't move then I guess its the 4 wires needing to go ino the plastic part they must be touching eachother or they arent touching the holes firmly.

sad.gif theres no way to make this thing work lol... all five red led lights comes on w/o chip(none of the gold wires are touching each other, and theyre all in the hole)  the chip is firmily placed and i've done it over and over again and it just dosen't work sad.gif everytime i try it normal and i flip the recovery swich and nothing....

I highly doubt the chip is bad tho...so it must be a mis aligned chip...had to redo min elike 8 times before it works.
