Network Locks Up!?

Hello. I have the SP.ICE chip installed on a 1.0 xbox and am running EVOX M8 for my BIOS.

When I load the retail kernel, and try to go into network settings the xbox locks up.

I'm not sure what other info to give, but does anyone have any suggestions?
