Is there a way I can turn off the Xenium ice chip so that I can boot up the retail bios. That way I can access live without being banned. Thanks.... Also is there a way to do it by the Xenium OS. Thanks

Ok so have to setup the retail bios on the chip. How do I do this. Do I do this by saying tsop when I click add a new launch item. When I launch the retail bios from the the ice OS will this get me banned? I was confused on your last statement. Thanks for the help. It is greatly appreciated.

if you boot through a hacked bios ie m8 etc if you have one installed you will be banned

make sure u dont have any live games with modded saves

ACtion Replay etc

which bios are xbox live blocking bios. I heard all the x2 .50** are. What about earlier versions?

basically boot the xbox like stock no mods

Just curious here. When you say: "hacked saves" do you mean saves from burned media? Or, saves from a game on the hard drive, or what?

He might mean something along the lines of hacked Halo2 content. It'll get you banned from matchmaking.

I have been told they don't search the hdd for files and they don't check hdd size but they will check hdd size if you have been banned before and your gamer tag is flagged.

I think people concluded that when you first sign up on live, it somehow identifies the serial number of your hard drive (or something from your hard drive), so if you change the hard drive after the 1st time you've signed up on line, you'll get banned.

Therefore if you plan on ever putting in a larger hard drive, do it before you sign up on live.
