I just installed my xenium s.p.ice on my xbox v1.4. So far everything has went well. I put the chip in and reconnected the HD and DVD-ROM drive back in. I turned the xbox on and a steady red light stays on where the eject button is. On the tv screen it says the xenium web site. It also says 2 words on the top of the screen, which are barely readable. I think the words say "reading..." and then is says halt.
