Xenium Ice kicks ass
You can mod halo with it (was doing it this morning)
Instructions are available here look under downloads for the IceGuide
It is xbox live compatible

No:
Don't waste the extra ten bucks for solderless if you or a friend knows how to solder. Solderles is a pain to get working, and then everyother time you move your xbox the chip comes loose and you need to put it in again. Your best bet is to use the quicksolder method outlined in the IceGuide

I got the solderless option. It was really easy to install. It was my first time opening an xbox and took me around 30 minutes

if it was me ide try and solder one in ureself there loads of tuts over at modchip-store it aint that hard failing that they do pre modded xboxes to

yep the xenium ice is sound!
me a complete n00b easily installed the solderless.

i did have to wedge a 2" lump of blu-tak between the chip and the dvd drive to make sure the contacts touched.

but its fine, easier than i thought

i do recmommend you do a lot of reading and researching before. i looked at several guides and printed them off, so i knew exactly what to do.

Mine only lasted 8 months... I wouldn't recommend an xenium to anyone... Pure crap

Did i read right when i think i saw that some people are saying the holes are plugged that you have to stick the modchip solderless wires in?

ok, responding to the original post.... Yes Xenium ICE is a great chip, i have had mine since february, and you need to find what version you have? There is the serial choice, or the open it up choice, there is a tut on it also. I am confused by the last few posts, does anybody need some help???
