Physical Eeprom Replacement

Well if you were given the actual software eeprom and not a physical chip then it would be flashed to you guessed it, the physical EEPROM that already resides on your motherboard, there are tutorials on here somewhere, or maybe you can get Acemillo to chime in and write one up 4 ya.

No need for a tutorial.  To physically replace the chip just desolder it and solder in a new one oriented the same way.  To do it thru software just use config magic.

Yea, it is. I did it and it works perfectly. So just head over to xboxrepairguide.com and buy a new EEPROM chip, they are only like $10 and it will save you so much trouble
