The chip is not fake.

I have tried all the cables and none work. I don't think this is the problem because it does not explain why the tray will not open.

Try remove chip and check that xbox is loading MS dashboard?
Does xbox frags?
It looks like connections are bad connection to LPC
But if you have orange XB power light it means that chip is in recovery mode.

You can also check chip on somone else solderless Xbox, to check that is working.

I can only advise you to check connection of solderless adapter to LPC (maybe you need to clean LPC with alcohol) and check when you screw this adapter all connections using multimeter that all pins on solderless adapter has connections to motherboard (through LPC)
If you are using in your Xbox this same Xenium ICE check in your Xbox that chip is working.

Thats all what I can advise you

I have now been able to test the new chip in my xbox. I have recieved the same error so i can only presume now that the chip is broken.
