At least 95% of the problems with the adapters is user error and users not taking the time to research first.

I would bump it to 99% but I agree. And while I thought the video for the SPIce install was cool, I did see a ton of people only commenting on how fast it was to install. They don't get it that fast doesn't mean right, and we are hearing from a few of them already. But so long as the product is solid I can deal with the whining because of the 99% I think 80% probably get something out of it.

Now I get to help a friend(who didn't read) install his SP with an X3 he ordered using christina's fix.

I also have a good example of a good solderless install. I did my 3rd mobile install for a guy last week. Because it was in a truck I suggested he let me solder the pinheader but he wanted to be able to share the chip between 2 xbox, so I installed it in his trucks xbox and put another spare solderless I had in his house box. I get a call yesterday that it stopped working. I go over and he had rolled his truck! the xbox had popped out from under the dash ( with a good part of the underside of the dash) but stayed inside the cab. He laughed when I got there because he knew i was coming over to give him shit about messing up the xbox. He had it on a table next to the house box and it was running at the Xenium recovery screen. It lost the OS and once we recovered I went to move the switch back and it fell off, so I shorted the points and it booted to the OS. I use hot glue on all 3 mobiles I have done but I was still impressed. The HD was shot and the front bezel was cracked, now he wants me to figure out how to put the components into some kind of indestructable case, shock proof it, and still get enough airflow to keep it from overheating. I don't think it can be done but it should be fun. It's more for a goof but who know
