Have you tried putting the old OS back on the chip?  I know you can't access your hdd, but u can use a cdrw. or dvd-r

I have no idea, i always thought that as long as you could get to recovery mode you could reflash your chip,unless it was a clone.  Double check to make sure it's not a clone.  I don't know what else to tell you.  I'm sure some guru will help ya out.

There is no major problem with 2.3.0

If you can't access the drive try to burn a cd or dvd then run recovery from the switch with the HD unplugged.

I do do installs on a regular basis, and I did try the way metioned above! No matter what recovery file I put on the xbox, all seems to go well during recovery, but still I just get a black screen! if you can get 2.3.0 off the e drive and replace it with 2.0.1, put the hdd back in the xbox and boot with the xenium recovery switch on and nothing in the dvd drive I'm pretty sure that will work... as it is how I evntually fixed mine

or did you try that already???

oh - and get rid of the xeniumos folder on e too

I tried that already.
Im done working on it, If someone wants the chip for the cost of shipping tell me, but lock this thread first as it is done.
