that 'box' ur talking about must be made by u using photoshop or some other grafix editing program

the skin.cfg file is explained on the Xodus site (search the news archives)

basically it allows u to position the menu on the screen and set the colors and so forth

browse the pinned skins thread in this forum and u'll find a skinning program which will help u out
