There's also the possibility that your OS is shot.. try flipping the recovery switch on teh chip and see if recovery mode comes up. if it does, your install is fine and you just need to reinstall the OS.

I'm recieving the same error, except mine isnt solderless. I tried flipping the switch on the chip with no luck. I can take it out and Xbox works just fine but then that thing is in nothing happens.

Is it a problem with my LPC contacts?

I know that the OS means the operating system, in this case a xenium one right?
since I need to reinstall(reflash) the os how do I go about doing this?

good to know that everything I did went well. i received a usb connection with my kit and I have a usb storage unit as well. can I somehow use this to reinstall the os? Please understand that I am a total noob and really need some clarification. Is there a link that I can look up? I've been searching for how to do this on the teamxdous website with no luck. and also which os do I need?

On TeamXodus's site over on the top right go into downloads. Download the newest OS which is 2.3.0. You are going to have to use the .iso version and burn it to a CD-RW or DVD-R. There are manuals on there website also that tell you how to burn the .iso and install it. Here is a link to a tutorial for upgrading http://www.teamxodus...grade manualthe OS

WOW!!! Thank you so much for helping me out. my xenium ice up and running great! the recovery was the key.
Now, my next set of questions are:

I know where to get all the files so don't worry. Iam also taking advantage of the USB adapter with my usb storage thingy.

How do I flash evox dashboard? I don't know which file I am suppose to click on. I used EvoxM7.bin file and set it up and when used, it goes in to the retail m$? I must be doing something wrong.

also the same thing for dvd2xbox ? how do I actually load the program? I am so clueless, I feel like a jackass. asking every step of the way. phew~~~
I've definately spent enough money on it. I couldn't buy a single pack of cd/rw so I had to buy a whole 10 pack of it. what a waste, I'll make some use of them though. THANK YOU again!

mines the other way. Xenium and EvoX loads up. just MS Dash doesnt. it tells me to call support.

ive just tryed it through EvoX. and, MS Dash loads up fine. since, ive upgraded to Xenium OS 2.3.0.
