Need Help With Xenium Ice Solderless

you got the correct d0, otherwise it would boot your m$ dash.  try pressing the chip down onto the adapter/mobo while powering on...that should take care of things.

it also helps if you press the chip down onto the adapter/mobo fairly firmly and tightening the screw...DO NOT STRIP THE SCREWHOLE

So im suposed to press down on the chip with the xbox pluged in?? is there any risk of a shock? thanks

When I installed mine (yesterday) it first loaded to xenium os, not ms dash..

Ok I got it too boot the chip is red but the xbox is flashing green\orange
any body know how to fix this?

I had the same problem with mine. I originally put the chip in the wrong way. Make sure the light is facing the left of the box, when the box is facing you. Then it kept booting into MSDASH, so I put it into Restore mode and got that to come up. Then I knew my chip was fine. So I slid the slider back and it worked. Of course I had to buy another adapter because I broke the d0 connector, but that should work.

yea you were right I had the chip in the wrong way. but it still keeps booting to m$ dash.

Solder it in and say goodbye to your problems.  Or just find someone near you you can pay to solder it in if you cant solder.  Trust me, the adapters are worthless.

Im thinking about Soldering it in if its the adapter that is causeing all the problems. cause once in awhile it will boot and the chip will be green then if I turn it off and then on again it boots to the m$ dash.
